Carismatic singer and actress from Iceland. The former Sugarcubes vocalist started her solo activity in 1993 with "Debut" which received various awards. Her previous albums, "Post" and "Homogenic" also made appearence in the dance chart with her house and techno-oriented materials. Last year she acted in the film, "Dancer In The Dark" with which she received Best Actress award in the Cannes film festival. Her new album "Vespertine" was released this summer.
